Matheus Cunha has reflected on his "crazy month" with Wolves.
The Brazilian endured mixed fortunes at the start of 2025 despite quashing exit rumours by signing a new long-term contract at Molineux until summer 2029.
He began the year on the sidelines after being hit with a two-game ban for elbowing an Ipswich staff member in the face before removing his glasses during a 2-1 loss.
Since then, Cunha has returned to an influential role with Vítor Pereira's side, netting his 13th goals of the season in last weekend's narrow defeat to Liverpool.
"It was a little bit of a crazy month for me," he told the Express & Star.
"I did something wrong in the pitch and I felt so sad. I apologised again to the security from Ipswich, and these kind of things give you a chance to learn and improve.
"I don't want to be the star man. I want to be someone important for the people to remember something good I do for them.
"I want to do everything to show I am fighting for you inside of the pitch and some magic moments for them."
Wolves will be aiming to widen the gap between themselves and the Premier League's relegation zone when they face high-flying Bournemouth on Saturday.
