Wolves welcome Liverpool to Molinuex this weekend as they try to lift themselves off the bottom of the Premier League table.
Tests don’t get much tougher for Gary O’Neil’s side with the two sides sitting in almost complete opposite ends of the table.
Wolves are in the midst of a defensive injury crisis after Yerson Mosquera was ruled out for the remainder of the campaign with a severe knee injury and Craig Dawson and Toti Gomes are both doubts after missing training.
That means there could be an opportunity for 20-year-old Alfie Pond to make his Premier League debut partnering the only fit senior centre-half Santiago Bueno on Saturday evening.
There should be a huge boost in personnel for Slot as first choice goalkeeper Alisson should be able to make his return in between the sticks after a brief spell out injured.

It has been a dire spell for Gary O’Neil’s men and they find themselves rooted to the wrong end of the table.
The misery has continued to accumulate and the Old Gold have only collected one point out of a possible 15 in the league so far, which was a 1-1 draw away at Nottingham Forest.
They were leading for the best part of 50 minutes away at rivals Aston Villa last weekend, before Unai Emery’s side went up a gear to outclass Wolves 3-1.
The frustration for the Wolves faithful will lie in the fact that for the large majority of their games they fiercely compete with their opponents before collapsing.
A perfect example of this is their first home game of the season against Chelsea. They found themselves level with the Blues at halftime with the scores at two goals apiece but ended up losing 6-2.

It has been a very productive week for Arne Slot and his players as they have tasted victory in three different competitions.
Firstly, a 3-1 away triumph at the San Siro against Milan commenced their Champions League campaign in style before they brushed aside Bournemouth 3-0 in the Premier League.
During midweek, the Reds emphatically knocked out fellow Premier League opposition in the Carabao Cup, as they hammered West Ham 5-1 at Anfield.
Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo both grabbed a brace, whilst Mo Salah came off the bench to record his fourth goal this term.
That surprising home loss to Nottingham Forest a fortnight ago seems a distant memory now and that result is the only blemish on what has been an immense start to life managing in the Premier League for Slot.

The curtain closed on the Jurgen Klopp era with a final day victory against Wolves at Anfield.
An emotional Klopp was seen taking in the adulation from the crowd prior to the game, with a chorus of songful praise directed at the German.
The players had to do the business on the pitch to fit the atmosphere and the occasion was made much easier when Nelson Semedo was shown a straight red card for a high tackle on Alexis Mac Allister.
The Argentine quickly recovered from the robust challenge to give the hosts the lead, as he leapt highest to direct a delicious cross from Harvey Elliott past Jose Sa.
Liverpool’s advantage was doubled five minutes later as centre-half Jarrell Quansah bundled home on the goal line to put the Reds in control.
Luis Diaz had a golden opportunity to make it three after the break but the Colombian somehow struck the crossbar despite the goal being virtually empty to aim at from four yards out.
As the whistle signalled at the end of the ninety minutes, it also indicated the final time Klopp would manage a club that he had revolutionised into a powerhouse of English football once again.
