€80m-rated Hugo Ekitike expected to leave Eintracht Frankfurt | OneFootball

Hugo Ekitike (22) has re-built his career at Eintracht Frankfurt following a difficult spell at Paris Saint-Germain. This season, the Frenchman has already netted 18 goals in 34 games in all competitions. It could be his last season with the Bundesliga side, Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg understands.

Ekitike joined Eintracht Frankfurt, initially on loan before making the move permanent in the summer for just over €16m. In his first full season in the Bundesliga, he has excelled and his club may already be ready to cash in on the player. Plettenberg understands that Ekitike is likely to leave this summer, just one year after making his move to Frankfurt permanent.

However, should he leave, he certainly will not do so on the cheap. The Frenchman is valued at €80m by Markus Krösche. The Bundesliga side are looking to garner a fee north of that figure. The former Stade de Reims forward’s contract runs until 2029.
