Gianluigi Donnarumma has been attached to Inter in recent times amid a seesawing negotiation to extend his PSG contract, which lasts until 2026. His agent Enzo Raiola cleared the air talking with Chiamarsi Bomber (via 90min).
“There haven’t been any contacts with them or other clubs. PSG expressed their will to continue with him, and he’s on the same page. If he’ll ever be put on the market, he won’t have trouble finding suitors. However, the door isn’t open in such a direction at the moment. We’ll make our evaluations if something changes in the next few months.”
Raiola updated on how the contract talks are going.
“Donnarumma is the PSG and Italy goalie and is liked by many sides as natural. We started conversing last summer and are working toward our goal very serenely. The team is correcting its wage policy in light of the UEFA rules. They are slashing their previous €500M payroll in half. We have accepted it, and we’re negotiating the renewal trying to find the best possible solution, but we aren’t in a rush for now.”
Inter director Piero Ausilio was asked about Donnarumma in an interview with Mediaset (via Calciomercato).
“We’d obviously be very interested if he left on a Bosman move. However, 2026 seems so far now, and I don’t think PSG will let him go.”
The 26-year-old joined the Ligue 1 champions for free after leaving Milan in 2021.
If he has trouble coming to terms with PSG, it’s hard to imagine any Serie A team will be able to meet his demands.
