Alessandro Antonello has said goodbye to Inter Milan after “unforgettable memories” as Corporate CEO.

The club officially confirm the 59-year-old’s departure. He says his goodbye message, whilst Nerazzurri President Beppe Marotta also bids farewell to his departing colleague.

Corporate CEO Antonello has now officially stepped down from his role at Inter.

The 59-year-old has been at the club since 2017.

During that time, Alessandro Antonello and Inter have had to navigate some turbulent waters. There have been many financial difficulties, particularly since the start of the pandemic.

However, Antonello has played a key role in getting through this period.

The departing Corporate CEO has been the mastermind behind Inter’s brand strategy. He has also worked tirelessly on the ever-frustrating process of trying to build a new stadium,

And on the pitch, Inter have returned to winning trophies since Antonello’s arrival.

As Corporate CEO, the 59-year-old has seen Inter win the Serie A title twice, the Coppa Italia twice, and the Supercoppa Italiana on three occasions.

The Nerazzurri have also reached the Champions League and Europa League finals.

Alessandro Antonello says goodbye to the club: “I would like to thank everyone who has made these ten years with the Nerazzurri unforgettable.”

“From the Club’s employees to the players, from the coaching staff to the board members, from the sponsors to the suppliers.”

Meanwhile, Inter President Beppe Marotta also says goodbye to Antonello: “On behalf of the Club and the Nerazzurri family, I wish to thank Alessandro for his dedication to Inter.”

“I also admire his incredible human qualities, which I have done since his first day here.”

Furthermore, he continues: “His work, without a doubt, helped us all begin this successful period.”

Meanwhile: “Among all the titles we’ve won together. I think that the day we won our Second Star is the memory that we will all cherish most.”
