The FA Youth Cup final produced some cracking goals on the pitch at Villa Park as Aston Villa claimed a 3-1 win against Manchester City on their home patch.

Man City got the scorecard up and running inside the opening two minutes after Matty Warhurst dispatched a composed finish just inside the area.

Villa struck back immediately from a corner when TJ Carroll headed home from inside the six-yard box to level matters on the scoresheet.

Villa starlet Cole Brannigan then produced the goal of the match with a half-volley hit from over 20 yards that sent Villa supporters into hysterics, and rightly so.

Villa then added a third after the break with a goal in the 66th minute with a second long-range hit of the match, this time from Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba.

Jimoh-Aloba's strike would do more than enough to seal the win and Villa's first FA Youth Cup triumph since 2021.
