Alphonso Davies to sign Bayern Munich contract extension until 2030 | OneFootball

Alphonso Davies will sign a new contract extension at Bayern Munich next week, keeping him at the club until 2030, Christian Falk reports.

The Canadian international once looked like he could be the biggest free agent signing of the upcoming summer when contract talks with Bayern broke down late last year.

Davies was then heavily linked to a move to La Liga and Real Madrid, who were keen on signing the wing-back.

However, talks between Davies and Bayern got back on track in early January and now look set to be finalized early next week.

Davies is expected to sign a contract until 2030 with a base salary of €15m. He could also receive additional add-ons of €5m and will benefit from a signing fee worth €20m.

Davies has been a regular under new coach Vincent Kompany this season, which may have helped the player make the decision to stay at Bayern.
