Real Madrid pair Arda Güler and Jude Bellingham have taken to social media, to reveal their appreciation for the most recent efforts of teammate Raúl Asencio.

This comes after the defender’s latest fine showing at the heart of the club’s backline.

Amid the ongoing injury crisis in Real Madrid’s defensive ranks, Asencio was in from the off once more on Sunday, in a La Liga meeting with Getafe.

And, en route to an eventual 2-0 Blancos triumph, the 21-year-old continued to prove himself more than up to the task, looking completely at home alongside partner Antonio Rüdiger.

This marked Asencio’s third successive start for Carlo Ancelotti’s side across all competitions, a remarkable burst onto the first-team picture in Spain’s capital for a player who, until last month, had not seen a single minute of senior football in his fledgling career.

And, as alluded to above, it has evidently not taken the stopper at all long to make his mark on his teammates.

Taking to the comments section of Asencio’s latest Instagram post, Jude Bellingham first wrote ‘different’, before being followed in his praise by Arda Güler, who added ‘What a player’.
