Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has been spotted in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, amid growing speculation he will sign for Flamengo this summer.
Jorginho is out of contract at the end of the season and, unless he agrees fresh terms, will be able to leave Arsenal as a free agent.
The 33-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Brazil, the country of his birth, and Flamengo are said to be keen on signing him.
That speculation will intensify after Jorginho was spotted arriving in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday morning.
The Italy international was filmed by YouTube channel Paparazzo Rubro-Negro and quizzed about a move to Flamengo.
“Let’s see what happens,” he said. “I came [today] on vacation.”
Reports in Brazil state that Flamengo are ready to offer Jorginho a three-year contract worth over £8million.
A complication would be, however, that the Brazilian side want him to play in the Club World Cup this summer - which starts in June.

Jorginho’s contract with Arsenal does not expire until the end of that month and so an agreement to release him early would need to be found.
Like Jorginho, fellow Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is out of contract at the end of the season and Mikel Arteta said in January talks would not take place with either player until nearer the summer.
“What I can say is that it’s not what I want, its what both those players have in their minds as well and what their situations,” said Arteta.
“I don’t want to start to have these conversations now, I want to have these conversations much later because the focus has to be on what we have to do in the season. They can understand the intentions and then we can see what we can do.
“It’s close communication with them to understand as well what their idea is, what they want to do, express as well our intentions and then let’s decide for everybody what is the best option there.
“But it’s two players that I am very, very happy with. They are such a value in the squad. And I want to keep them as well with the right mind frame, because the most important part of the season is coming now.”
