Arsenal are searching for back-to-back wins over Crystal Palace when the two sides meet in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Gunners beat their south London opponents in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday evening, with Gabriel Jesus returning to the scoresheet emphatically with a hat-trick that downed the Eagles.

Arsenal will be keen to repeat their victory on Saturday following two successive draws in the Premier League. Mikel Arteta's men have underwhelmed in battles with Fulham and Everton, struggling to hit their stride in the final third.

Injuries at full-back aside, Arsenal should be able to field an almost first-choice starting XI at Selhurst Park, with Arteta keen to avoid further disappointment against an improving Palace.

GK: David Raya - The Arsenal stopper couldn't do anything to deny former teammate Eddie Nketiah midweek, nor was he able to prevent Jean-Philippe Mateta from firing Palace in front. Will hope for more protection from his defence at the weekend.

RB: Thomas Partey - Partey has been a hit-and-miss option at right-back as he fills in for the injured Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu. What he lacks in attacking threat, he usually makes up for with defensive work rate -something that could prove key against Eberechi Eze.

CB: William Saliba - The Frenchman will enjoy a physical duel with Mateta at Selhurst Park and you would be brave to bet against the imposing defender coming out on top.

CB: Gabriel - The absence of Gabriel was felt by Arsenal against Palace midweek, with Jakub Kiwior offering a poor impression of his Brazilian teammate. Handling the powerful Mateta is often a two-man job.

LB: Jurrien Timber - Timber was used at centre-back and right-back on Wednesday and could well be deployed at left-back on Saturday. The versatile Dutchman rarely puts a foot wrong regardless of his position.

CM: Martin Odegaard - The skipper made an enormous impact from the bench midweek and his creativity will be key to Arsenal ending their two-game winless run in the Premier League.

CM: Mikel Merino - Partey's reassignment has resulted in Merino earning plenty of minutes in recent weeks. The Spaniard has started four of the last seven matches and could feature in the XI again in south London.

CM: Declan Rice - Rice should be available at the weekend despite a minor injury concern sidelining him midweek. The midfielder provides essential balance in the engine room and will likely feature in a box-to-box role.

RW: Bukayo Saka - Arsenal's star boy is without a goal in three Premier League appearances following his side's offensive struggles. Like Odegaard, the explosive winger will be key to unlocking a five-man Palace backline.

ST: Kai Havertz - Gabriel Jesus' hat-trick shouldn't trouble Havertz's spot in the starting XI, even if the German has also blanked in his last three league matches. The former Chelsea man's movement could prove pivotal in stretching Palace's three centre-halves.

LW: Gabriel Martinelli - Martinelli was given the night off midweek and should be well-rested for the journey to Selhurst Park. Scored two late goals in a 5-0 win over the Eagles last term, taking his tally to five in eight against them.
