Aston Villa & Juventus contact Chelsea as Axel Disasi loan departure nears | OneFootball

According to a report from L’Équipe journalists Loïc Tanzi and Hugo Delom, French defender Axel Disasi (26) is set for a loan move away from Chelsea by the end of the winter transfer window. The former AS Monaco man has agreed with the club to proceed with the move away from Stamford Bridge, with Premier League side Aston Villa and Serie A outfit interested. The two clubs have contacted Chelsea to try and advance on a deal. Disasi joins fellow Frenchman Christopher Nkunku as another Chelsea outgoing this window. Fabrizio Romano previously reported that “important clubs” had opened talks to explore a move for the 26-year-old defender. So far this season, the France international has played 16 matches in all competitions, but only five of those have come in the Premier League. The Frenchman signed for Chelsea from AS Monaco for over a €45m transfer fee back in 2023, signing a contract which runs currently until 2029. GFFN | George Boxall
