Everything you need to know ahead of City's FA Youth Cup final trip to Aston Villa.
Oliver Reiss' Under-18s travel to Villa Park on Monday 5 May with the prestigious final scheduled for a 15:00 (UK) kick-off.
The game comes just one week after our young boys in blue claimed the Under-18 Premier League North title after a dramatic added time winner in our 4-3 triumph over Derby County.
But now, City's attention turns to our quest to win back-to-back FA Youth Cup titles for the first time in the Club's history.
Regular updates from Villa Park will be available on X: @ManCityAcademy. From 90 minutes before kick-off, our Matchday Centre will provide expert insight before, during and after the match.
Once the game has finished, a detailed match report plus reaction from the Lead Coach and his players will be available on mancity.com and the Official Man City App.
Tickets for the game are still available. Help bring the noise at Villa Park by purchasing a ticket here.
City have won all 11 FA Youth Cup games since December 2023.
Looking specifically at our journey to this year's final, City have scored an impressive 19 goals in five games and conceded just two.
It was a difficult start in the third round when we welcomed Crystal Palace to the Joie Stadium. But a late Dan Batty strike ensured no extra-time as City claimed a spot in the next round.
Entertaining wins over Millwall (5-1), Leeds United (6-1) and West Bromwich Albion (6-0) all followed with City's rampant displays seeing us cruise to the final four.
But another difficult test would remind City of the jeopardy of cup football.
Matty Warhurst gave us an early lead at Watford's Vicarage Road. But the team would have to hold out to confirm the 1-0 win that would see us qualify for a second successive final.
With City competing in the Under-18 Premier League North and Aston Villa in the South equivalent, it's not often the two sides come face to face.
Our last meeting with the Villans dates back to 15 January 2020. City beat the West Midlands outfit 2-1 in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup. City would go on to win the competition for a third time in the Club's history.
City's recent result was in the Under-18 Premier League North where we overcame a tough Derby County side 4-3.
After last season's winners Manchester United dropped points in their 4-4 draw with Everton, City knew a win would see us seal the top spot with one league game left.
But after going 2-0 on 39 minutes, it seemed like the title race would continue.
However, City's Under-18s persevered with Finlay Gorman, Ryan McAidoo and Matty Warhurst firing City ahead before the 80-minute mark.
Tristan Gill made it 3-3 with three minutes on the clock but City continued to fight for a 21 successive win.
And it was Warhurst again who bagged on the half turn to secure the Under-18 Premier League North title in added time.
In our final game of the Under-18 Premier League North season, City travel to Newcastle on Saturday 10 May, with kick-off scheduled for 10:30 (UK).
Updates on the match will be available on X: @ManCityAcademy with a detailed match report and post-match reaction to follow on mancity.com and our official app.
After the game, the team will also receive the North title trophy and medals with coverage of the special moment to follow.
