According to a recent report from Fichajes, Barcelona are planning their moves for the next transfer window, and their priority is clear—strengthening the full-back positions.

Hansi Flick has made it known that he wants two new signings to reinforce both sides of the defence. If that is not possible, he would prefer a versatile player who can operate on either flank.

The coach is looking to increase competition in these areas, as the current first-choice options lack solid backup.

While young players like Hector Fort and Gerard Martin have potential, they are still inexperienced, making it necessary for the club to bring in more established options to maintain consistency.

As a result,  Barcelona have shortlisted six full-backs as potential targets for the summer.

On the right side, they are considering three players. One of them is Juanlu Sanchez, a promising youngster from Sevilla. His contract runs until 2026, and his transfer fee is estimated to be around €15 million.

Another name on the list is Daniel Munoz, the Colombian defender currently playing for Crystal Palace. He would cost approximately €25 million.

The final option for this position is Vanderson, the Brazilian full-back from Monaco, who has a market value close to €20 million.

For the left-back position, Barcelona are also exploring three possibilities. One of the most promising options is Jorrel Hato, a highly-rated Dutch talent from Ajax. He can also play as a centre-back, and his transfer fee is expected to be around €30 million.

Another alternative is Alvaro Carreras, the Spanish full-back currently at Benfica. He has a long-term contract until 2029, and his market value is approximately €50 million.

A more affordable choice would be Caio Henrique, the Brazilian defender from Monaco, who could be available for about €15 million.

Despite this extensive list, it is no secret that Barcelona will need to assess their financial flexibility before making any moves, as their budget will play a crucial role in determining how many signings they can afford.
