Barcelona interested in €40m Borussia Dortmund forward | OneFootball

The FC Barcelona attacking trident of Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, and Lamine Yamal has been performing at a very high level this season. His contract with the German club will have only one year left at the end of this season, and thus his incorporation might not be too hard for the Catalans, who had already been interested in him when Ronald Koeman was the coach.

This season he has not been a fixed starter for Dortmund and is also willing to take a secondary role at the Blaugrana club. He can play both as a winger and a forward, and this versatility, along with his finishing ability, makes him an interesting option even though he has never exploded to reach the highest levels in Europe.

Thus, while Barcelona’s priority is to sign a truly world-class winger, Malen can still be an interesting option for them who will not be too averse to the idea of sitting on the bench.
