Barcelona have one of the most formidable attacking units in Europe this season, with Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, and Raphinha excelling in Hansi Flick’s system. Ferran Torres has also chipped in with valuable goals from the bench.
However, the Blaugrana remain intent on further strengthening their forward line in the summer with the signing of a new left-winger.
As has already been reported, Liverpool’s Luis Diaz is a top candidate that the Blaugrana are considering for the position.
Now, according to reports relayed by Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are not alone in the race as other top clubs like Manchester City, PSG, and AC Milan are all monitoring Luis Diaz’s situation.
Furthermore, teams from Saudi Arabia, such as Al Hilal and Al Nassr, are also keen on signing the Colombian international.

However, as per the report, it is Barcelona who are leading the race for the signature of Diaz at this point, having already made contact with his representatives.
The Blaugrana director Deco is already laying the groundwork for a deal to bring in the Colombian international, which has seemingly given the club an edge in the race for his signing.
While Diaz still has two years remaining on his deal, Liverpool could consider selling him if a significant offer arrives.
In fact, reports in Colombia suggest that the Reds are already looking at Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane as a prime candidate to replace the Barcelona target in the summer.
Sane, who previously played for Manchester City in England, is set to become a free agent with his contract at Allianz Arena expiring at the end of the season.
If Liverpool press ahead with the German international’s signing, it could pave the way for Diaz to leave for Barcelona.
