Barcelona on alert: AC Milan ready to sell star attacker | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona have on Friday been put on alert. This comes owing to the latest media chatter stemming from Italy.

AC Milan, it is understood, are giving real consideration to putting star winger Rafael Leão on the market this summer.

After being eliminated from the Champions League in surprise fashion at the hands of Feyenoord this week, the Rossoneri are preparing a potential squad overhaul for next season.

And amongst those considered most likely to be moved on is the aforementioned Leão.

Such news will no doubt pique attentions amongst those behind the scenes at Barcelona, with the Blaugrana having long been credited with an interest in the Portuguese’s signature.

Amid an ongoing search for reinforcements out wide, Leão, in turn, could well be targeted by Deco and co. as Barca’s marquee addition this summer.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, citing La Gazzetta dello Sport:

‘One of the players who is most likely to be on the move is Rafael Leao. And if Milan open the door to a possible exit, it would be a good opportunity for Barcelona to try to sign him to give a quality jump to the squad for next season.’
