Barcelona ready to ‘facilitate attacker’s departure’ in January | OneFootball

The powers that be at La Liga giants Barcelona are ready to sanction the departure of Ansu Fati during the winter transfer window.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Saturday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

Wide-man Ansu is for his part of course back on the books of Barcelona this season.

After a difficult year out on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion, which saw him again struggle badly for fitness, the 21-year-old has returned to base in Catalunya’s capital, with hopes of rediscovering his brilliant best.

Safe to say, however, that such efforts, thus far, have come up short…

All told, owing to a combination of fitness woes and competition for places, Ansu has managed just over two hours of playing time.

And, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then Hansi Flick and his coaching staff already appear to have seen enough…

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘The club will facilitate his departure in January so that he can play if he so wishes and the decision will be made by the player.’
