Mohammed Kudus says West Ham have been hugely boosted following the win over Arsenal.
Graham Potters side produced an outstanding display at the weekend to claim all 3-points at the Emirates, to all-but end the Gunners hopes of winning the title once again.
Hammers forward Kudus has admitted that it was a huge win in what has been a tough season, as we look to kick on and end the campaign on a high.
“It’s been a difficult season, but it’s one of the wins that we’ll never forget about,” Kudus told the clubs Official Website.
“It was a tough game, but we were compact, very focused, and full of effort in getting the win, so I’m glad we got the three points.”
Kudus spoke of a big moment in the game, when Arsenal were reduced to 10 men – with the Hammers number 14 now ready to kick on as we take on Leicester City tomorrow night.
“I was just pressing to get the ball [off Lewis-Skelly]. I just took the ball off him, and there was a chance to score, but then he fouled me and was given a red card,” added Kudus. “I think if I hadn’t been stopped, I would have been heading directly one-on-one with their goalkeeper.
“It’s a very big boost in confidence, but still we have a lot of games to go. It’s definitely a good boost ahead of our next game, and the next focus is on three points now [against Leicester City].”
