Some breaking news that is just coming out now this Monday lunchtime suggests that Chelsea could be about to trigger a loan recall for a player.

The Blues have never been expecting to do much business this window, but injuries and perhaps even some of the most recent results being so poor, may have turned the club to action as they ponder options.

Even though we keep hearing Chelsea wont be on the look out for new signings this month, we are seeing that they are perhaps looking at potential new centre backs.

However, it looks like Chelsea are looking at other options which quite frankly is very embarrassing for them.

Remember back in the summer when Chelsea physically forced Trevoh Chalobah out of his boyhood club by not letting him go on the pre-season tour and sending a clear message for him to find a new club? Well, now they are apparently considering begging for him back! Yikes. That’s not only embarrassing for the club, it’s a massive smack in the face to Chalobah and I truly hope he says no.

The Athletic report Chelsea could trigger their option to recall defender Trevoh Chalobah from his season-long loan spell at Crystal Palace this month.

Recalling Chalobah is just one option Chelsea are open to in order to address the injuries in their defence, says the report.

I think this is an absolute joke. Chalobah should never have been pushed out the club, he is better than both Tosin Adarabioyo and Axel Disasi in my opinion, and the fact Wesley Fofana looks injury prone, who on earth at Chelsea even sanctioned this sale let alone physically pushed it? Pathetic.
