Brentford 0-0 Chelsea: Player ratings as Blues held to frustrating draw | OneFootball

Chelsea missed their chance to solidify their push for a spot in the top four with an underwhelming 0-0 draw with Brentford on Sunday.

Brentford had the better of a limp first half against a Chelsea side which made five changes from the 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in midweek, but the second-half introductions of Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto helped spark the visitors into life.

The trio all saw sights of goal blocked, but it was Brentford who had the game's best chance. Sepp van den Berg had his head in his hands when he sent a free header bouncing over the crossbar with ten minutes to go.

The draw leaves Chelsea fourth in the standings but at the mercy of Manchester City and Newcastle United, both of whom could climb above the Blues if they win their games in hand.
