The Blues revealed the player’s departure via a post on their official club website this evening.
Mušović joined Chelsea from FC Rosengård in the January 2021 transfer window. In her time with The Blues, Mušović has made more than 50 appearances for the club while she has won 10 domestic trophies. The keeper was also a member of the Chelsea team that reached the UEFA Women’s Champions League final in 2020/2021.
In February 2025, Mušović revealed her pregnancy. That news brought an early end to her season and it has now been revealed that the player has played her last game for Chelsea.
After her Chelsea exit was announced, Mušović said “Before leaving Sweden and coming to Chelsea, I had a lot of doubts. But with my amazing teammates, the wonderful staff and our incredible supporters, I found a new family.
“We have created many memories together and I have grown so much as a person during my time at Chelsea. It’s why it’s difficult to leave, but also why I feel confident to begin something new.”
Mušović joins defensive midfielder Sophie Ingle in leaving Chelsea at the end of the season.
