Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reignited one big transfer story of this January window that went a bit quiet in recent days.

It might be back on the agenda for Chelsea as they look to get some late deals done. Better late than never? Well, I’ll let you all decide that one.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea’s outgoings held back in order to do player trade deals to sign players!

Either way, the later it gets then the less chances there are of Chelsea actually adding anyone else to the squad this window, and the chances of outgoings decreasing too with so many players seemingly wanting out.

And we are still not hearing about another player who does not get used and has been treated badly, Carney Chukwuemeka, moving anywhere anytime soon. It’s all very odd.

Still, they are going to reach back out for Alejandro Garnacho, so all is well (please note sarcasm).

Romano put his latest set of transfer updates out late last night on his YouTube channel, and he is claiming that Chelsea are about to speak to Manchester United about Garnacho once again, reigniting this potential big transfer story.

He says:

“On Garnacho, Chelsea will be in touch this week to discuss opportunities.”

I am assuming that by opportunities he means potential trade deals to see if United want to buy any Chelsea players, and they can buy Garnacho in return for PSR purposes. As that is pretty much what happens in football these days, especially if you are Chelsea and you have the owners that we have.

Well, let’s see what happens with this then I guess. Joys.
