We have been shortlisted in a number of categories at the 2025 Women’s Football Awards.
Bethany England and Jess Naz have both been nominated for the Player of the Year award.
Our skipper Bethany has been in sensational form this term, netting eight goals in the WSL, and has created history on two occasions in the last couple of months in England’s top flight.
Jess has featuring regularly in the Barclays Women’s Super League and cup competitions for us, scoring twice so far this term, while she has earned six caps for England since receiving her maiden call-up to the senior squad in May, 2024.
Academy graduate Lenna Gunning-Williams has been nominated for Young Football Player of the Year.
The 20-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough season in our colours, making 12 appearances for our Women’s first team this term, with eight of those coming in the WSL, and received a maiden call-up to the England Under-23s squad in October.
After making history for the Club in leading us to the 2024 Women's FA Cup Final, Head Coach Robert Vilahamn is up for the Coach of the Year award with us currently seventh in the league on 17 points.
Off the pitch, we have also been shortlisted for the Best Club of the Year Award and the Best Social Media Campaign.
Having won the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Award at last year’s prestigious ceremony, we are once again nominated in that category for our work to promote access to and improve visibility of women's football.
The ceremony will take place on Thursday 1 May in London, which will be hosted by Gabby Logan MBE, Jamie Carragher and Eni Aluko.
