Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo has set his sights on a reunion with a one-time Blancos teammate, in Saudi Arabia.

That’s according to Marca, who point towards Casemiro as the player in question.

Midfielder Casemiro currently finds himself in a difficult situation at club level, amid the ongoing struggles of Premier League giants Manchester United.

An Old Trafford departure has in turn long been rumoured for the Brazilian, potentially as early as this month.

And, as alluded to above, one individual eager for his side to take advantage of this situation is none other than five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.

As per a report from Marca:

‘Among the requests that the Portuguese player has in order to make Al-Nassr a champion team is a reunion with Casemiro, with whom he shared a dressing room for five seasons at Real Madrid.’

A number of dominos would need to fall into place for any such move to come to fruition, not least Casemiro himself giving the green light to a Middle East switch.

But Ronaldo, it would appear, is ready to do whatever it takes to secure a reunion with his one-time Real Madrid teammate.
