Curtis Jones has further endeared himself to Liverpool supporters by posting a message of support after his red card following Wednesday's Merseyside derby.
The midfielder was shown a second yellow card after the final whistle for brawling with Everton's Abdoulaye Doucoure, who appeared to be celebrating the Toffees' late equaliser in front of the Liverpool fans.
Jones, and several other teammates, did not take kindly to Doucoure's actions. The 24-year-old needed restraining after confronting Doucoure, who was also given his marching orders for his role in the incident.
Taking to social media on Thursday, Jones posted a photo of the Liverpool squad celebrating their second goal in front of the traveling fans alongside the caption, "Always together".
Fans have responded positively to Jones' actions, despite the fact he will now serve a one-match ban against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Jones' forced absence may mean manager Arne Slot - or whoever ends up in charge - has no choice but to turn to the trio of Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch just a matter of days after starting the trio against Everton.
His suspension will only last one game as Jones was dismissed for two yellow cards, rather than a straight red.
