Liverpool are plotting an overhaul in the summer transfer window. Arne Slot and Richard Hughes are not standing still despite achieving the Premier League title at the first time of asking.
Plans are afoot to add a left-back, a centre-forward and, before all that, a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold. That is expected to be Jeremie Frimpong, whose €35m transfer from Bayer Leverkusen looks a formality.

But in order to furnish what is going to be a MASSIVE summer of spending, Liverpool require outgoings. FSG aren’t prone to big outlays unless the club manage to recoup some money in sales.
And there is no shortage of names linked to the exit door. The Athletic’s transfer expert and NBC Sports analyst David Ornstein confirmed earlier this week the names of SEVEN Premier League title winners that could leave Anfield this summer.
"The likes of Darwin Nunez, Jarell Quansah, Harvey Elliott and possibly Caoimhin Kelleher as well in goal,” he tells NBC Sports. "And there's some uncertainly around the likes of Luis Diaz, of Ibrahima Konate going into the last 12 months of his contract, and Kostas Tsimikas."
Nunez, 25, is attracting plenty of interest from clubs including Atletico Madrid and Napoli. Quansah, meanwhile, is thought to be a target for up to six Premier League teams as well as sides in the Bundesliga.
The Reds could also part ways with Elliott, who admitted following the defeat to Brighton on Monday that his future could lie elsewhere.
With Giorgi Mamardashvili coming into the club once his Valencia loan deal expires, it means Kelleher dropping even further down the pecking order.
Aston Villa, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Chelsea and Tottenham have all been suggested as potential suitors. Diaz remains a target for Barcelona as well as all the big-hitters in the Saudi Pro League.
The club are known to be troubled by the situation regarding Konate, with Richard Hughes prepared to sanction a sale if no renewal is agreed this summer. And rounding off the potential exits is Tsimikas, now on the radar of Leeds United.
There are even more players in the squad who may well be sweating about their futures - but if Liverpool manage to find buyers for that lot then they will add plenty of money to the coffers to fund summer spending.
