Roma start Paulo Dybala and Artem Dovbyk upfront, but are missing their mid-season signings for the Europa League play-off with Samu Omorodion Aghehowa’s FC Porto.
It kicks off at the Estadio do Dragao at 20.00 GMT.
The Giallorossi finished 15th in the league phase of the competition, but despite revamping their squad in January, most of those new signings are not available.
Devyne Rensch is suffering from a muscular injury, while Lucas Gourna-Douath and Anass Salah-Eddine are not registered on the UEFA list.
So the only January buys who can play are Victor Nelsson and goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini.
Mats Hummels and Leandro Paredes return after they were rested for the 1-0 Serie A win away to Venezia, but remain on the bench.
It is quite an attacking formation with Alexis Saelemaekers, Zeki Celik, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Angelino.
The most important thing is seeing first-choice strikers Dybala and Dovbyk together upfront.

FC Porto only brought in new coach Martin Anselmi on January 27 and he has overseen just three games, a 1-0 Europa League victory over Maccabi Tel-Aviv and a pair of domestic draws.
He favours the 3-4-3 formation and the star striker is former Atletico Madrid forward Samu Omorodion Aghehowa with 18 goals in 27 games, including five in just seven Europa League appearances.
Marko Grujic and Martim Fernandes are out of action, but Otavio was suspended at the weekend against Sporting CP.
Familiar names to Serie A include ex-Udinese defender Nehuen Perez and Tiago Djaló on loan from Juventus.
Former Roma defender Ivan Marcano has been out all season after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament, but is back in the squad today.
Porto traditionally have a very strong home record in Europe, winning 55 games here, drawing 22 and losing 22.
