Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman has been linked with a move away from the Italian club at the end of the season, and multiple Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on his situation.
The Nigerian attacker has become one of the most talked-about names heading into the transfer window. The 27-year-old has attracted attention from several clubs with his outstanding performances both in Serie A and on the international stage.
Sources have informed CaughtOffside that Barcelona have contacted the player’s representatives to evaluate a potential move for Lookman. However, the ongoing financial difficulties of the Catalan giants may pose a serious obstacle.
Juventus, one of the clubs that first expressed interest in Lookman, continues to prioritise a move for the player. However, the asking price of €60–65 million seems challenging for the Torino-based side.
The interest of clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Arsenal in the player could see Lookman return to England as well. The Premier League clubs are planning to hold talks with the Nigerian soon.

The player has 25 goal contributions this season (18 goals and seven assists), and he could prove to be the ideal acquisition for Chelsea. They need an upgrade on Mykhailo Mudryk, and the Serie A star could improve them immensely.
Similarly, Arsenal need more depth in the wide areas so that they can rotate some of their key players more often. They will be hoping to win the league title and the Champions League in the coming seasons, and they need a deeper squad with more quality.
As far as Liverpool are concerned, they need to replace Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota in the summer. Both players have been underwhelming this season, and the Nigerian could prove to be an upgrade on them.
Manchester United have looked toothless in the attack, and summer signing Joshua Zirkzee is still getting to grips with English football. Signing another quality attacker should be a priority for them, and the 27-year-old certainly fits the profile.
