Paris Saint-Germain are taking a new direction under sporting advisor Luis Campos, shifting away from high-profile signings and focusing more on developing young talent. But growing interest from rival clubs is casting doubt on Campos’ long-term future in Paris.

Over the last three years, Campos has played a key role in bringing in promising players like Vitinha, Bradley Barcola and João Neves. Before joining PSG, he helped build competitive squads at AS Monaco and LOSC Lille.

Still, despite his impact, Campos has not yet agreed to a contract extension, fueling speculation about his next move.

Earlier this year, Football Transfers reported that Chelsea, Arsenal and several Saudi Arabian clubs are actively trying to lure him away. Campos’ current deal runs through the end of the season, and the report claimed Saudi clubs are ready to offer him a staggering €200 million over 10 years.

On the day after PSG advanced past Arsenal to reach the UEFA Champions League final, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano wrote that “reports on Luis Campos in talks to join Man United were always described as wide of mark, as reported.”

Recently, journalist Ben Jacobs reported that Campos remains in talks over a new contract with PSG. Despite recent speculation, he is not a candidate for Manchester United or Chelsea roles.
