Joao Felix could be a surprise name on the move before the end of the January transfer window according to Fabrizio Romano.
The January window has less than two weeks remaining, and this is the stage when business generally starts to pick up.
The Blues haven’t been as busy as expected, and the only outgoing has been Rentao Veiga on loan to Juventus, whilst they have recalled Trevoh Chalobah and agreed a deal worth €15m with Strasbourg for Mamadou Sarr, who will arrive in the summer.
Chelsea are trying to find solutions for a number of players and as of yet no moves have materialised for the likes of Ben Chilwell, Carney Chukwuemeka, Cesare Casadei and Axel Disasi.
There’s reportedly been plenty of interest in those players, but the Blues are still seemingly no closer to finalising exits for any of them.

One player who isn’t expected to leave is Felix, although having been linked with a move with to AC Milan, Romano has provided an update.
“Keep an eye on Joao Felix for the last week, because clubs are still calling about him and are being informed on him,” he told his YouTube channel.
A departure for Felix would be strange given Chelsea paid £45m to sign him from Atletico Madrid in the summer, but the 25-year-old has only started three Premier League games, and often doesn’t come until the final ten minutes if at all.

The Portugal international is in a difficult situation because he’s playing second fiddle to Cole Palmer who always plays, but Maresca has hinted at playing the pair together although that hasn’t happened regularly.
If Felix were to leave it would free up space for Chelsea to bring another attacker in and they have been linked with moves for Alejandro Garnacho, Liam Delap and Benjamin Sesko, and with the transfer window approaching the final week anything could be possible.
