MIAMI – The November window of League A of the 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League is now complete. Many players delivered top performances in the quarterfinals, yet these 11 players stood out the most in their respective positions.

Matt Turner, USA – Turner was one of the top performers for the U.S. in the series against Jamaica, playing full-time over the two legs. He stopped a penalty and collected a clean sheet in the first match. Overall, he registered six saves and three clearances.

Defenders

Jorge Sánchez, Mexico – Sánchez was key as Mexico orchestrated a heroic comeback with a 4-nil win over Honduras in the second leg, scoring the match's third goal and the winner on aggregate. The right-back also contributed a goal and three ball recoveries in the shutout performance.

Jesús Orozco, Mexico – The center-back played an instrumental role for Mexico in the second leg. Orozco was a rock defensively, with six ball recoveries to help keep a clean sheet while contributing offensively with an assist and completing 93% of his passes.

José Córdoba, Panama – Córdoba led the Panama back line as they defeated Costa Rica to return to the CNL Finals for a third consecutive edition. The center-back featured the entirety of both fixtures while tallying two ball recoveries, an assist, and an 89% pass completion rate.

Richie Laryea, Canada – Laryea put in two top performances for Canada against Suriname as the Reds return to the CNL Finals following a runners-up finish in the 2022/23 edition. The left-back was a mainstay in the team’s lineup, playing full-time over the two legs, contributing five ball recoveries, and completing 95% of his passes.

Midfielders

Christian Pulisic, USA – The U.S. midfielder was a constant threat in attack against Jamaica. Pulisic contributed a goal and an assist and recorded four shots over both matches in the series.

Weston McKennie, USA – McKennie was a leader for the Stars and Stripes both on the defensive and offensive duties, dishing out two assists in the second leg against Jamaica, recording three ball recoveries overall, and completing 94% of his passes.

Stephen Eustáquio, Canada – An engine in midfield, Eustáquio had the most ball recoveries for a midfielder in the quarterfinals stage, totaling seven, while also being precise on ball distribution by completing 92% of his passes.

Jacob Shaffelburg, Canada – Shaffelburg’s brace in the second leg helped secure the series for Canada. In addition to his two critical strikes, the speedy winger pitched in with four shots and recorded an 87% pass completion rate.

Forwards

Ricardo Pepi, USA – Pepi got his name on the scoresheet in both U.S. wins against Jamaica. He provided the early opener in the 5’ of the first match, followed by scoring the team’s third goal in the 4-2 victory in the second leg.

José Fajardo, Panama – The attacker scored a key goal for Los Canaleros, converting from the penalty spot for the sole goal in the 1-nil first-leg win in Costa Rica. Additionally, he contributed three shots in 151 minutes of action.
