FC Bayern thanks fans and extends donation campaign | OneFootball

The record demand for Bayern’s 125th-anniversary jersey has resulted in a unique record in donations for FC Bayern Hilfe eV. Following the rush, the club would like to express its heartfelt thanks to fans for the more than €300,000 that have been raised so far through the sale of the sleeve badge to help people in need.

Due to its success, FC Bayern has decided to extend the fundraising campaign. The coveted Erfolge sleeve badge, the proceeds of which will go to FC Bayern Hilfe eV, will also be available on the regular 2024/25 jerseys from next week.

The jersey for 125 years of FC Bayern under the motto ‘Creating Originals - since 1900’ is now completely sold out in most sizes. The jersey with Franz Beckenbauer's number 5, which is dedicated to the memory of the Kaiser for the first time since members' decision to retire his number at the 2024 annual general meeting, is particularly popular. After the launch, FC Bayern experienced an unprecedented rush for the entire 125th anniversary collection.

Vincent Kompany's team will wear the anniversary jersey in their home match against Bochum at the Allianz Arena on 8 March, while the women's team will wear the special kit in their big match at the FC Bayern Campus against Wolfsburg on 14 March. Afterwards, the worn jerseys will be auctioned HERE. These proceeds will also go to FC Bayern Hilfe eV, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
