Fiorentina appear to want to secure Edoardo Bove on a permanent deal from Roma.
Bove’s contract includes a mandatory buyout clause set at 10.5 million euros, which can be activated if the player ends the season having played at least 60% of Fiorentina’s matches (intended as at least 45 minutes on the pitch, even if not as a starter).
However, the Viola management seems intent on not waiting for this condition to occur, reports Corriere dello Sport.
Daniele Pradé, Fiorentina’s sporting director, is said to be ready to start talks with Roma to close the deal, securing a player who has shown he can be a key player in the Fiorentina midfield.
For Edoardo Bove, Florence has proven to be an ideal place to relaunch himself after a complicated period at Roma.
The trust received from the coach and the club has allowed the young midfielder to grow and find continuity, earning the affection of the Viola fans.
Fiorentina, for its part, does not want to waste time: the club is convinced of the player’s qualities and intends to secure his future as soon as possible.
The negotiations with Roma, however, could require patience, given that the Giallorossi are currently focused on other priorities.
