Francisco Conceicao out of Juventus-Milan in the warm-up | OneFootball

Francisco Conceicao pulled out in the warm-up for Juventus, where he was set to face his father Sergio as new coach of Milan, so Kenan Yildiz starts the Supercoppa Italiana instead.

It kicks off at the Al-Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh at 19.00 GMT.

The winners will be decided after 90 minutes or penalties, without the need for extra time, and go on to face Inter in the Final on Monday.

Conceicao had been named in the starting XI by coach Thiago Motta, a curious situation seeing as his father Sergio Conceicao is making his debut on the Milan bench.

However, the winger pulled out during the warm-up with a muscular issue and was visibly very upset, almost in tears, knowing he would not be able to play.

Having returned to the locker room, the news came through that Juventus will start Kenan Yildiz instead.

It remains to be seen if the Turkey international will be in the same role, in a trio with Teun Koopmeiners and Samuel Mbangula supporting Dusan Vlahovic.
