Over 1.5 Man City goals

Fulham have conceded at least two goals in four of their last five Premier League matches at Craven Cottage, with the exception being a 2-0 success over Tottenham.

Erling Haaland anytime goalscorer

Only Mohamed Salah (16) and Alexander Isak (11) have scored more Premier League away goals this season than Erling Haaland (10), who has previously netted five goals in five appearances against Fulham.

How both teams go into Fulham vs Man City

Inconsistency has come to define Fulham this season, with the Cottagers only stringing together back-to-back wins on three occasions. Heading into the penultimate round of fixtures, they have suffered four losses from their previous five outings, with two of those defeats coming at home. Before that, Marco Silva’s men had picked up wins over Liverpool and Tottenham. The only members of England’s “big six” to win at Fulham this season are Chelsea (1-2) and Manchester United (0-1), as Arsenal played out a 1-1 draw last December.

As for City, they knew their aspirations of winning an unprecedented, record-extending fifth Premier League title had long come to an end, with focus immediately going towards securing a top-five finish, thus ensuring Champions League football will be played at the Etihad next season. Pep Guardiola’s men have recently shown glimpses of their old selves, with them being on an eight-game unbeaten run (six wins and two draws), including winning five on the bounce while keeping five clean sheets during this run. It leaves them in a good position to mathematically finish as runners-up to Liverpool, when not too long ago many feared a top-four finish could elude them, such was their dismal form.

Fulham team news

Timothy Castagne, Harrison Reed, Rodrigo Muniz, and Reiss Nelson will not feature again for Fulham this season, all recovering from respective injuries. Sasa Lukic is currently being assessed and could be available.

Man City team news

It’s touch and go whether Oscar Bobb, John Stones, and Nathan Aké are part of Guardiola’s squad for this contest. According to the City boss, Rodri is feeling better, though understandably, there’s a risk attached to bringing him back into the fold, especially when they can turn their attention to next season.

Fulham vs Man City head-to-head

Man City are unbeaten in their last 23 meetings with Fulham in all competitions (20 wins and three draws), including winning the last 17 consecutively.
