Roma director Florent Ghisolfi insists there is ‘no contact with another club’ to sell Paulo Dybala, but they are ‘building a clear sporting project’ for the future.
The match with Parma kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico at 11.30 GMT.
The Giallorossi felt that their campaign was back on track with wins over Lecce and SC Braga, only to then lose 2-0 at Como.
Following the midweek 4-1 Coppa Italia victory over Sampdoria, they at least have Gianluca Mancini and Mats Hummels back to bolster the defence, so only Bryan Cristante remains on the absentee list.

While in previous interviews, Ghisolfi said that they were already working on building next season’s Roma and choosing a new coach to take over from caretaker Claudio Ranieri, today he focused on the present.
“We need to work towards the future, but I don’t think today’s game will change our strategy. The most important thing right now is to see a team with intensity, determination and enthusiasm,” Ghisolfi told DAZN.
Inevitably, there were questions about the reports Dybala is in talks with Galatasaray for a January transfer.
“As I said on Wednesday, for the moment we are clear that there is no contact with another club. Paulo is a very important player for Roma, he is playing today, I hope he will have a great game. The most important thing for coach Ranieri and the club is what happens on the field,” assured Ghisolfi.
Max Allegri has been suggested as the most likely new coach for the 2025-26 campaign, but again Ghisolfi tried to steer the focus back to the present.
“The most important coach right now is Ranieri. He is doing an incredible job. It’s true that we need to make the right choice, but we are also building a clear sporting project with stability. That is also connected to the project of the new stadium, which is very ambitious.”
