Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has provided a fresh insight into the wellbeing of Lamine Yamal.
This comes after the 17-year-old was only considered well enough to feature off the bench in the Blaugrana’s meeting with Las Palmas.
Barca of course marked their return to action a short time ago, welcoming lowly Las Palmas to Catalunya’s capital with sights on a first win in three in La Liga.
When all was said and done, however, the woes of Hansi Flick’s troops only continued, en route to an eventual 2-1 defeat.
The aforementioned Lamine, for his part, was forced to watch on from the sideline for the bulk of the clash, after only recently being given the all clear from an ankle injury.
After the attacker struggled to make an impact following his introduction, too, his status to face RCD Mallorca on Tuesday night was therefore put to boss Hansi Flick post-match.
And Barcelona’s headmaster went on to explain:
“Lamine is likely to be able to start against Mallorca.”
