Harry Redknapp has been talking about Newcastle United.
The former Spurs boss discussing Eddie Howe and his team ahead of the weekend.
Newcastle United travelling to Selhurst Park.
A 3pm kick-off on Saturday afternoon.
United set to face Crystal Palace.
Harry Redknapp talking to BetVictor ahead of Newcastle United playing at Crystal Palace:
“Crystal Palace have been improving in recent weeks, but they keep drawing games!
“A draw away to Aston Villa is a great result for them and should give the squad a lift.
“I can’t believe Newcastle against West Ham, that was a real shock to me.
“They had their chances, but they just didn’t take them and seemed to lose their way as the game went on.
“Crystal Palace aren’t having a great season but have upset some big sides so far, I’m thinking about that win versus Tottenham. I can see a scrappy draw here.
“Prediction: Crystal Palace 1 Newcastle 1.
“One to watch:
“Newcastle fans had some brilliant flags for their star man Alexander Isak the other night and he went and drew a blank! That could change here.”
A great effort by Wor Flags on Monday night but things just didn’t go our way on the pitch.
As Harry Redknapp sums it up, Eddie Howe’s side had the chances to win the game, a lot of great situations, but didn’t put the goals on the end of it.
West Ham dealing that set-piece sucker-punch and then the killer second goal in the second half, pretty much their first two chances of the match.
If Newcastle United play like they did in the opening hour or so against West Ham, then I think they will win on Saturday, so long as their finishing matches their general play.
If NUFC play like they did in that final half hour against West Ham, then doubtful Newcastle would get anything.
Palace have won only one Premier League match all season and have scored only three goals in six PL home games.
This looks a great opportunity for United to bounce back to winning form.
