Liverpool are gearing up for a major squad overhaul this summer, with manager Arne Slot set to oversee an ambitious rebuild ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The Reds are already on the brink of losing Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Virgil van Dijk, whose contracts expire at the end of the season.
However, a number of other players could also be on their way out.
Both players have struggled with injuries this season.
Elliott is still considered a highly promising midfielder and has featured 19 times across all competitions, returning four goals and an assist.
The 21-year-old was the difference between Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League first-leg clash at Parc des Princes.
He netted an 87th-minute winner to hand the Reds a slender advantage heading into the tie decider at Anfield.
However, with Liverpool looking to add more experienced figures in the middle of the park, Elliott could be on his way out.
Meanwhile, Jota has been on Liverpool’s books since joining from Wolverhampton Wanderers back in 2020, but he could be sacrificed with the Reds looking to revamp their attacking options.
Liverpool have been linked with a move for highly sought-after Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, who is also subject to interest from London duo Chelsea and Arsenal.
However, a move for the Swedish striker is far from straightforward, with Newcastle poised to demand a whopping £150 million for their talisman.
Caoimhin Kelleher, who has been angling for a move away in search of regular first-team football, is also on the chopping block, alongside Federico Chiesa and Wataru Endo.
Liverpool reportedly turned down a lucrative offer for the Uruguayan striker in January, but it remains to be seen if they will maintain their stance this summer.
