Manchester United are set to go through major changes in the summer transfer window.

Ruben Amorim has been given the task to clear the deadwood of the squad and make changes that can take the Red Devils back to the top of English football.

The Premier League giants are set to offload players like Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof as well as players like Marcus Rashford and Antony who are currently out on loan.

Rashford is the player who is the least likely to have a future at Man United after falling out of favour under Amorim.

He was sent out on loan to Aston Villa in the winter transfer window and whether he ends up at Villa or not remains to be seen but he has no future at Old Trafford.

Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown has told Football Insider that the Red Devils are now set to demand more money for Rashford after he was selected for the England squad announced by Thomas Tuchel.

However, there is no question about the player’s future as the Premier League side have already made up their mind to sell him.

“Man United are going to demand a high fee for him,” he told Football Insider.

“Their asking price has increased after he was recalled into the England squad.

“I said when he went to Villa that the move would be a win-win-win situation for the three of them, and I think that has been proven already.

“Villa have benefited from his impressive performances, he’s been allowed to show what he can do, and now Man United can benefit from his sale.

“They’ve got the best out of a bad situation at United, really.

“It looked like they’d have to sell him on the cheap, but his value has only gone up.

“With the interest from Villa and from abroad, and a place in the England squad showing how highly-rated he is, it will allow them to drive up his asking price.

“I think it’s likely he will leave Man United in the summer, but they want to make the most money possible from that sale.”

Rashford has done well for Villa under Unai Emery and it shows that away from the pressures of Man United, there is a player who can still reach the heights he showed earlier in his career.

It would be best for all the parties if the attacker is allowed to leave the club.

The player, who might feel that he was often treated harshly by the fans at the club, has shown he has what it takes to perform at the top level during his short spell at Villa.
