Newcastle 4 Leicester 0 – Saturday 14 December 3pm
The photo that Newcastle United fans had all really really wanted to see today.
United dominating but somehow finding themselves one goal up at half-time.
However, that swiftly changed, 3-0 up only five minutes into the second half.
It could and should have been at least twice that scoreline, however, we will settle for the eventual 4-0 and hope a few have been saved for Wednesday night in the cup.
Another winning snapshot post-match.
Another photo = The eighth of this season.
The Newcastle United Head Coach introduced this tradition of a post-match everybody included photo following each victory, as he felt it had worked as a bonding exercise when he was at Bournemouth.
(It is actually the ninth victory of the season for United but for whatever reasons, no winning photo after the win over AFC Wimbledon. Can only guess winning 1-0 at home to League Two opposition might have looked a ‘little’ lame.)
So after having to wait 34 days since the win at Forest, we now have another winning photo above.
Great to see.
It is also a massive bonus just how much it winds up fans of certain other clubs and journalists.
‘Look at them, think they have won the Premier League / Champions League… etc etc’
I absolutely love it.
Twenty two more Premier League games to go, as well as fingers crossed plenty more cup matches, so hopefully many more of these photos to come.
