Inter Milan will be hoping that Nicolo Barella, Federico Dimarco, and Alessandro Bastoni can help them sign PSG keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInter1908. They report that the Nerazzurri are hoping to lure the 25-year-old in an improbable transfer.
Inter are reportedly seriously eyeing up a move for Paris Saint-Germain keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The prospect of Inter signing the former AC Milan goalkeeper might seem unlikely.
However, the Corriere della Sera report, the Nerazzurri do not see it as completely outside the realm of possibility.
Donnarumma is out of contract with PSG at the end of June 2026 as things stand.
Therefore, the Italian international’s contract situation could push the Parisians to sell him next summer, should he not sign an extension.
And Inter are keeping an eye on the situation. If any club were to bring Donnarumma back to Serie A, they could be in a good position.
Meanwhile, as the Corriere della Sera note, Inter have a number of players in the Italian national team.
All of Nicolo Barella, Federico Dimarco, and Alessandro Bastoni are regular starters for the Azzurri. As is Donnarumma.
Therefore, Inter could try and rely on these players to personally convince the 25-year-old.
Moreover, Gianluca Spinelli is currently Inter’s goalkeeping coach. Spinelli has a good relationship with Donnarumma, so the PSG keeper could certainly be keen on a reunion.
