How Much Playing Time Taty Castellanos Will Get in Lazio vs Roma Derby

Taty Castellanos has made a timely return to action, as Lazio prepare to take on Roma in the Derby della Capitale.
The Argentine suffered a muscle injury during the Aquile’s clash against Napoli on February 15th. He made his return in early March, only to suffer a relapse that kept him out of action for additional weeks.
In his absence, the team has been starving for goals, as Boulaye Dia, Tijjani Noslin and Loum Tchaouna weren’t capable of interpreting the centre-forward role as effectively as Castellanos.
But the good news for the Biancocelesti is that the 26-year-old has now fully recovered from his injury, and has already made his return during the second half of the first-leg clash against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Castellanos is set to start in the Derby against Roma. The source expects the former Girona striker to play for around 60 minutes before being rested in the second half. That’s because Baroni is planning to field him for the entire 90 minutes in the decisive second leg against Bodo/Glimt.
Lazio are currently trailing 0-2 on aggregate in the Europa League quarter-final, so the Argentine’s services will certainly be required as the team aims to turn the result upside-down, backed by the resounding support of the Stadio Olimpico home crowd. Castellanos remains the club’s top scorer this season with 12 goals and eight assists to his name.
