Rúben Amorim’s decision to leave Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho out of Manchester United’s squad for last Sunday’s derby against Manchester City has sparked speculation about Rashford’s future at the club.

TalkSPORT’s Alex Crook reports that Al Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League is keeping an eye on Rashford’s situation following his omission from the matchday squad. However, TBR Football claims that while interest from Saudi clubs persists, Rashford has no intention of moving to the Middle East.

Laurie Whitwell of The Athletic claims Paris Saint-Germain are not currently pursuing Rashford. Additionally, Sky Sports’ Melissa Reddy notes that no clubs are actively targeting the forward, citing concerns over his recent form, off-field issues, and high wage demands.

Meanwhile, Chris Wheeler of the Daily Mail suggests that Manchester United could be open to offers of around £40 million for Rashford.

Ian Wright comes to the defense of Marcus Rashford

Despite the rumors pushing him out the door at Manchester United, one pundit believes it would be a mistake for the Red Devils to sell Rashford. Ian Wright has slammed critics of the 27-year-old as the pundit won’t dismiss the attacker.

“I got to Arsenal at 28, but you expect ME to write off someone with the ability Marcus has at 27!” Wright said (h/t TEAMtalk). “So many of you are desperate to see these young people fail so that you can say you were right! You would take 1% of the career Marcus has had!”

GIVE ME SPORT’s Ben Jacobs recently reported that PSG have not made any new approach for Marcus Rashford, even though their sports advisor, Luis Campos, is fully aware of the player’s situation.

Jacobs also mentioned that Rashford is open to a move to LaLiga, with Barcelona viewing him as a good fit. However, the financial side of the deal makes it nearly impossible unless Manchester United agrees to a loan and covers a significant portion of his wages.
