Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi is expected to have striker Marcus Thuram available for selection against Udinese on Sunday.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, and via FCInterNews.it, Thuram is set to recover in time following an injury that has plagued him on international duty with France.

The former Borussia Monchengladbach player was sent back to Inter from the French camp after injuring his ankle, but early tests suggest that it is only a minor knock, despite complaining of trouble for several weeks.

Indeed, Thuram is expected to be able to play some part in the Serie A clash against the Zebrette at the Stadio San Siro, as Inter look to maintain their lead at the top of the table.

However, fellow striker Lautaro Martinez is not expected to be available this weekend after being sent home by Argentina, and tests on Monday will reveal the extent of his injury.
