Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi feels that his players are “giving him everything” after their Supercoppa Italiana win over Atalanta.

The Nerazzurri coach spoke to InterTV, via FCInterNews, after the 2-0 victory.

Inter beat Atalanta in the semifinal of the Supercoppa Italiana yesterday evening.

The Nerazzurri secured a 2-0 win to book their place in the final of the Supercoppa for the fourth season running.

It is right around the halfway point of the season. And Inter have the chance to compete for silverware for the first campaign.

If Inter are to beat either Inter or Juventus in the final, that would mean that Inzaghi has won at least one trophy in each of his four seasons at the helm.

Inter have also reached the Champions League final under the former Lazio coach.

All of this has not been easy. Inter have been in action almost constantly for the past three and a half years.

But Inzaghi has enjoyed success, because he has always been able to rely on his players.

After yesterday’s match, Inzaghi commented that “I congratulated the guys for a great match against a good opponent.”

“We wanted to get to the final. And we deserved it.”

“We could have scored more,” the Inter coach added. “But the team looked very focused to me.”

“We were up against a team of the highest level,” Inzaghi continued. “And we faced them the right way.”

“We started both halves well. That’s why we deservedly won.”

“I feel great pride,” Inzaghi said. “These guys are giving me everything they can over the last three and a half years.”

“With all the matches we have to play, it’s commendable.”

The Inter coach then said that “We have to keep going like this.”

“We have to win as many matches as possible,” he concluded. “That’s what we want.”
