Lautaro Martinez and Davide Frattesi capped off an outstanding team effort at the Allianz Arena last Tuesday.

Indeed, the Nerazzurri defied the odds to beat the Bavarians 2-1 on their home ground.

In doing so, Inzaghi’s charges became the first team in four years to win a European fixture in Munich.

Moreover, Inter’s triumph was a product of an incredible team performance.

Everyone lived up to expectations as Inter secured a crucial first-leg advantage heading into the return leg on home soil.

However, Inzaghi grasps the importance of maintaining absolute focus until the final whistle.

Clips of Inzaghi’s tantrum on the sidelines recently flooded social media, earning him the nickname ‘Demon from Piacenza.’

Asked whether he ignited a demon inside, Inzaghi replied: “No, we know we’re facing a great team that we respect but don’t fear.

“We need to build on the first leg with energy, aggression, and unity.

“We have to play a great game against a great opponent.”

When asked whether the fans will see the demon tonight, Inzaghi responded: “Let’s hope so.”

Meanwhile, he discussed Federico Dimarco’s return to the starting eleven after a minor injury.

“We know how important Dimarco is for us,” he added. “Carlos Augusto played a great game in Monaco.

“I’ve made few changes, I managed the energy levels against Cagliari. We have confidence for this game.”

Finally, he opened up on the weather conditions in Milan.

“It’s part of the game. It seems like the rain has stopped. Hopefully, the weather will be favorable for a great match.”
