Inter Milan are ready to lock down Roma target Davide Frattesi during the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the summer, however, could be a different story.

Frattesi’s future has been the hot topic in Italian media for a few days now.

The strongest links with the 25-year-old have concerned Roma.

Reportedly, the Giallorossi are increasingly hopeful that they can capitalize on Frattesi’s lack of minutes by signing the former Sassuolo midfielder.

Frattesi wants to ensure playing time ahead of the 2026 World Cup with Italy, above all.

According to the Corriere, though, Frattesi would have to wait until at least the end of this season for a move away from Inter.

The 25-year-old has been patient thus far. And he is not going to force an exit right away.

Inter’s plan is certainly not to meddle with their squad in January. They see Frattesi as an important player and expect him to get his chances in a packed second half of the season.

Then, in the summer, things could change.

Inter are certainly not in any hurry to offload Frattesi.

According to the Corriere, Inter would want no less than €45-50 million for the former Sassuolo midfielder.

However, they would at least listen to offers, unlike this month.
