The reverse fixture earlier this season ended honours even, as the pair played to a 1-1 draw at St. Mary's. In the Championship last term, Ipwsich completed the double over their opponents, winning by a one-goal scoreline on both occasions. The last time the Saints prevailed in a domestic match at the expense of the Tractor Boys came in 2011 in a 5-2 success at Portman Road. That also came in the Championship. However, given the importance of this clash in the context of their season, this should be a fascinating match.
