With eight goals this season after today's brace, Jiménez is now the all-time leading Mexican goalscorer in Premier League history, with a total of 55.

Coming into today's fixture, Jiménez sat level with another national icon in Javier Hernåndez, who previously netted on 53 occasions across combined spells between Manchester United and West Ham.

Though he is entering the twilight of his career, his legacy is no doubt secured.
